No- Limits Media

Mr. Joukowsky is the Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of No-Limits Media, a non-profit corporation whose goal is the development of innovative media projects for people with disabilities. No Limits created a 1\2 hour TV “Magazine” program that was broadcast on ABC in the spring of 2005.

Lemelson Assistive Technology Development Center 

He is the Chairman and founding Board member of the Lemelson Assistive Technology Development Center at Hampshire College, an academic program that supports student invention and design of adaptive equipment. http://lemelson.hampshire.edu

U.S. Paralympic Team 

He was a member of the United States Paralympic Team 2002-2004, he competed in the US and abroad.  He won the National Championships in table tennis (2002) for class 6 and won the Silver medal in the Mexico City Games (2003).

Raising the Bar

​​He is the Executive Producer and co-author of Raising the Bar, a book published by Umbrage Press. He co-wrote the essay with Larry Rothstein. In addition, he is writing a new book, tentatively called The Gift.

Raising the Bar Associates, LLC

​He is the founder and organizer of Raising the Bar Associates, LLC, which was created to work with major international corporations to support the UN Convention on Human Rights, which was passed in 2008.  Raising the Bar Associates, LLC hosted a public photo exhibit of the book’s images in the main hall of the UN from March 12 to April 2 and again in July of 2005 to support the Convention. In addition, RTBLLC presented the book to each ambassador and head of state at the same time that UN Secretary General Kofi Annan presented the FDR International Disability Award to King Abdullah of Jordon.

He is co-founder of a number of non-profit organizations and socially responsible investment networks, including the Investor Circle (with Susan Davis). He was a founding participant of the Social Venture Network and he helped to found the Vermont Community Loan Fund, The Natick Montessori School and Food Works. He served on the Board of Directors of Hampshire College from 1992-2000 and as the Chair and Co-Chair of two Capital Campaigns from 1994 to 2008. http://www.hampshire.edu/cms/index.php?id=3585

He served on the Board of the American Community School of Beirut from 1996-2000 and the Greyston Foundation from 1992-2000.  

He has a B.A. in Social Ecology from Hampshire College, and an M.A. in Psychology from Goddard College.  Artemis and his family live in Sherborn, MA.
